The greatest men and women of the Bible often had really humble beginnings. King David was a shepherd and the youngest of 8 sons; Ruth was a refugee, and Jesus himself was born in a barn. The person at the centre of this story went on to do some amazing things too.
This remarkable story is told in just 10 verses in Exodus chapter 2. It's a great reminder that God has a plan for us all - no matter how big or small we are. We are never alone - God is always looking after us.
