Hello there! I’m Claire — wife to Brad, and Mum to Evergrace, Lennox and our new bub, Oaklan.

Have you noticed that my accent is a bit different to our other narrators? That’s because I’m from New Zealand, a beautiful country with kind and friendly people. Trust me, it’s worth visiting! I made my way over to Australia in my early 20s, and while NZ is always in my heart, Australia is now home.

We live on the gorgeous Fraser Coast of QLD, surrounded by the beach, nature and our extended family. Being outdoors, especially on a sunny day, gives me so much joy and peace. And with three little kids, I definitely need that! 😉

It brings me so much joy and excitement to hear from children who love the Evergrace stories as much as I do. Just the other day, Ezra told me all about his favourite one, which he listens to every night. And his Mum told me how much she loves them for car trips too. And my little friend George, he can’t wait to hear me talking to him every night as he falls asleep. Tidbits like this remind me just how special this product is, and what a privilege it is for us to be ministering to children all over the world every night.

So why did we start creating Evergrace stories?

Well, I’m sure every parent can agree that bedtime can be exhausting, but I didn’t want it to be like that. I wanted it to be a time of connection, of closeness and contentment. I loved having Evergrace fall asleep snuggled next to me while we listened to an audio story. (I still love that now, and she’s 7 and Lennox is 4!) But the stories felt like they had something missing — they were peaceable, sleepy stories that “worked” to get her to sleep, but they lacked meaning or purpose. That’s when Brad and I realised that we wanted to be listening to bedtime stories about God. We didn’t want traditional Bible stories like you hear in Sunday School (which we still know and love) — we wanted ones that spoke directly to our hearts and that we could relate to. When we couldn’t find those stories, we knew we needed to make them ourselves!
