Worry Knapsack

Riley is a happy kid living a great life, except that she’s weighed down by a big ol’ bag of WORRIES, which she’s convinced no one else can see. But she soon finds out that the Bible has the perfect antidote to calm her concerns.

As we go through life, we will face many new things along the way and with these experiences often comes feelings of uncertainty. Life is full of ‘what ifs’, and it can be easy for these questions about our future to turn into worries.

And there’s a seemingly endless list of things that we can worry about, from tiny little niggles, to big, life altering experiences. Whatever the cause, worries make life very unpleasant, and these heavy thoughts often mean we can feel trapped, with no way out.

But thankfully we have a God who knew that worrying would be a problem for many of His children, and He has given us clear instructions on how to deal with the worry wrestle. In fact, the Bible has a LOT to say on the topic, and we can be sure that the Scriptures hold the key in helping kids (and adults) overcome the worries of today’s world, and instead rest in the peace that comes from being in the presence of our Saviour.
