Patience can be a tough thing to learn, but God gives us many opportunities to practice waiting. Gardening is a great teacher of patience - when we plant a seed in the ground we have to wait (sometimes a VERY long time) for it to grow into a plant. Sometimes this waiting can feel frustrating, especially when we can’t see progress being made. But it’s important for us to trust in the process, continuing to water and tend the garden, knowing that good things are coming!
Likewise in our own lives, it’s important to show patience with God. Sometimes we might not understand why things are happening the way they are, but just as we would keep watering and taking care of our plants as we wait for the fruit to come, we have to keep trusting in God and His big, wonderful and perfect plan for us.
